Is Bryce Young tradeable?

Is Young tradeable right now?

By: Jake Rajala

The former Alabama signal-caller Bryce Young was taken first overall in the 2023 draft. He had a rough rookie season, as he unleashed 11 TDs to 10 ints. He hauled in a record of 2-14, which was far from superb. Last season, he started rough. Nonetheless, over the past three games, he had 10 total touchdowns to 0 ints!

So, should the Panthers believe in Young, or should they pull the plug on the experiment?

The Panthers would likely get a mid-round pick for him in return. I don’t believe they should trade him for an average deal. Although, there could be a few teams that are desperate and want to trade a second round pick for him, such as the Pittsburgh Steelers or Cleveland Browns. They could also trade Young for another QB under the age of 25.

I believe it was the right move to bring in Tetarioa McMillan and Hunter Renfrow to see if he can take the next step. They have three quality WRs for Young to utilize. PFF also ranked the Panthers OL as the 11th best unit in the league!

If the Panthers get a top-five pick in next year’s draft, I then believe they should trade him and roll with an elite rookie QB! Young is far from the only early round QB to be replaced by a new first-round QB.

I’d like to see the Panthers bring in a new veteran QB next off-season. Andy Dalton is simply washed up. I would prefer to see a Russell Wilson-caliber QB. QB competition will bring out the best in Young.
