Seahawks vs Saints

The 12th man welcomes the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at 4:05. The Saints are 0-2, but they’ve only lost by one score in each of the past two games. They are bound to be tough to beat, as they aim to avoid starting 0-3. The Hawks are coming off an impressive victory over Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers. Make no mistake: the Steelers aren’t slouches.
There is some familiarity in this showdown. The Hawks OC Klint Kubiak was the Saints OC last season. Kellen Moore needs to show he’s the superior offensive mind. The Saints have averaged 17 points in their first two games, while the Hawks have averaged 22 points. Drew Brees wanted Klint Kubiak to be considered for the HC gig.
Spencer Rattler is still seeking his first victory in the pros. I’d like to see him hand the ball off more to Alvin Kamara. The Saints have a lot of speed at WR with Rashid Shaheed and Chris Olave. The running game opens up play-action to their deep threats.
A lot of fans are also wondering about a weapon by the name of Taysom Hill. Kellen Moore said he’s not close to returning to the field.
The Hawks QB Sam Darnold is out to prove the Hawks made a mistake for moving on from him. We witnessed J.J. McCarthy struggle last night, too.
The Hawks have Cooper Kupp and Jaxson Smith-Njigba. They are most certainly a Top-10 WR duo. Similar to the Saints, I’d like to see more plays being made by their defense. The Hawks and Saints can’t afford to get into shootouts with their average defenses.
The Saints and Hawks have a rich, head to head history. The Saints have won their last four games against the Hawks! Of course, the Hawks had their famous upset against the Saints in the playoffs, where beast mode break many tackles on a long TD run.
