Flex players to trade for right now
By: Jake Rajala
The flex spot will provide huge dividends to a roster, whether it’s a RB or WR. With that said, I’m going to lay out five flex players to acquire.
Cam Skattebo
Cam is like Toby Gerhert or Steven Jackson. Cam can bull-doze his foes. He also isn’t a bad catcher, especially for being a thick, downhill RB. He got 24 points in Week 3, which came after 13.9 points in Week 2. He is also 23 and a 2025 fourth round pick, so he has a very bright future.
Tyreek Hill
Tyreek Hill is coming off a season-high 10 targets. Mike McDaniel knows his seat is heating up. It’s time to feed the best player on the team, a lot of footballs. The only drawback is that Hill is 31 years old. He may also switch teams, but that can’t be prepared for.
George Pickens
It’s a shame he starts at 76%. Pickens is 24 years old and playing at a very high level. He had 17.8 points in Week 2 and 17.8 pts in Week 3. Ceedee Lamb is out for at least a couple of more games, so the volume for Pickens should really be up. Long-term, I expect Pickens to be involved and playing near a Pro Bowl level as the WR2.
Quentin Johnston
Quentin Johnston is somehow started at 48%, yet he scooped up 24.9 pts, 15.9 pts, and 14.9 pts in the past few weeks. Quentin Johnston has found ways to be potent. Even if Keenan Allen has turned back the clock, Quentin has found ways to get the ball.
Chris Olave
Chris Olave has had three straight games above 10 pts. Olave can run any route. Kellen Moore loves no-huddle, quick screens, which fit well for Olave. Olave should be a 1k yard WR, no doubt. The best part for Olave is that Spencer Rattler looks a lot better than last season. As Rattler grows, Olave will improve, too. Olave has had many concussions. He saw a specialist after his last one and had to miss the rest of the season.
