Week 7: buy low and sell high

The dynasty season is starting to show which teams are legit. Well, it’s also early enough for teams to crawl out of a hole. With that said, I’m going to discuss trading and unfold players to buy low and sell high.
Sell high:
- Brian Thomas Jr.
Brian Thomas Jr is coming off a season high of 23 points against the Seattle Seahawks. That was only his second game above 12 points, which isn’t daunting. He also scored his first touchdown on the season. I still anticipate Travis Hunter to get more involved, as they experiment with his usage. PFF has given Thomas a grade of 62.8. If T-Lawrence is having a bad day, I don’t believe Thomas Jr. is good enough to overcome it.
- Darren Waller
I love Darren Waller. I snagged Waller before his first game back to action. I am living off his superb production thus far. He scored 17 points, 18 points, and then 9.2 points last week. Myself and anyone that watches football would doubt that Waller can sustain his TD count. With that said, he only has 12 targets in three games. Perhaps Tua wants to branch out and throw deep balls to Waller. I don’t see him as a danger if it comes down Waller needing many targets to shine. Furthermore, he happens to be 33 years old, which isn’t young, to say the least.
- Daniel Jones
Daniel Jones is playing like a dark horse MVP candidate, but he’s not overly friendly to fantasy teams. He has three games below 20 pts and three over 20 points. He is coming off his second best game of the season. I believe that the Giants offense is starting to lean to Cam Skattebo. Jones could be flipped for a second round pick to a QB-needy team in my opinion.
Buy low:
- J.K. Dobbins
Just as Alvin Kamara and Darren Sproles were guaranteed to shine in a Sean Payton offense, J.K. Dobbins is simply too versatile to not have impressive outcomes. He had 10 points in each game up until last week, where he had 4 last contest. He’s also had four games of at least 15 points. Bo Nix is just starting to heat up, which should open up more things for Dobbins.
- Stefon Diggs
The Minneapolis Miracle man, Stefon Diggs, isn’t washed up quite yet. Diggs is coming off a 5.8 performance. Don’t let this cloud the fact that he’s 24.6 points and 16.1 points in the prior two showdowns. As long as Drake Maye remains a borderline Top-8 fantasy QB, Diggs should be a modest flex option. He faces the Titans and Browns in the next two games.
- Justin Fields
Justin Fields has had three games of at least 25 points. He was making me question whether I should start him or Drake Maye. Well, Fields fell flat last week, as he unleashed 4.9 points. Yikes. It should be noted that he played the “Denver Broncos defense” last week, which may arguably be the NFL’s best defense. Fields will likely be the long-term QB if he can score at least 20 points for the majority of his remaining games.
