Week 8 fantasy trade targets | dynasty

trade targets for Week 8

By: Jake Rajala

Week 8 is nearly underway, as we’re waiting for a couple of Monday Night Football games to eclipse. Well, I’m going to get ahead and try to help fellow fantasy and dynasty owners get ahead of their competition. I will talk about five fantasy targets to target for your squad. Let’s begin.

Aaron Jones

The Minnesota Vikings RB Aaron Jones is targeting a Week 8 return. He only played in a couple of games this season. In Week 1, he registered 15.7 points. Last season, he was on straight fire – as he unleashed at least 9.8 points in his last seven games! He is honestly getting old (he’s 30), but he’s versatile and can remain a threat in the passing game for a few more seasons.

Jaylen Warren

The Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jaylen Warren is playing like his hair is on fire. He has scored at least 8.3 points a game this season. He is coming off a season high 19.8 points this season. Aaron Rodgers likes to throw it short more than any other QB. The absurb part is that he doesn’t even have a touchdown yet. He is still 26 years old.

Bears defense

The Bears defense mauled the Saints offense yesterday. They are coming off a season-high 14 points. They have scored 11, 12, 11, 10, and -4 points this season. The Bears lead the league in takeaway with 2.7 per game. The next closest team is 2.0, which comes from the Jaguars. The Jags don’t have one or two elite profiles. They are just well-rounded from DL to S.

Jalen Hurts

The decline of 2024 OPOY Saquon Barkley has really forced the passing offense to make more plays. Sure as heck, Hurts has played like a Pro Bowl QB. He is coming off a 24.04 game, which is his third highest of the season. The former Heisman Winner DeVonta Smith has proven to be reliable, to say the least. Smith unleashed 183 receiving yards and a touchdown in Week 7. Some may wonder if Saquon, also known as the Madden boy, is still has explosive has last season.

Romeo Doubs

The 25 year old, Green Bay Packers WR Romeo Doubs, has been dominant over the past few contests. He’s recorded at least 8 targets over that span. Besides scoring 4.5 points in Week 3, he’s notched at least 8.8 points in every showdown. He has proven to be impressive, regardless of how the explosive Matthew Golden plays. I believe it’s worth shipping a second round pick for his services.

I laid out two RBs, one QB, one D, and one WR. I believe it’s vital to be solid from top to bottom, rather than trade the house for one or two players. I hope this advice helps you win your league. If you can’t dominate your foes with one or two of these players, be patient and accept the fact that the season isn’t close to being finished.
