Is it time to sell Tee Higgins in dynasty?

Sell Tee Higgins?

By: Jake Rajala

Tee Higgins has been well-regarded as one of the best WR2s in the league. Higgins is right up there with George Pickens, Davante Adams, and DeVonta Smith. Higgins has unleashed 575 yards and several touchdowns this season. In fantasy, he only has recorded two games below 8 points.

Higgins won’t be available for Thanksgiving Day, where the Bengals square off against the Baltimore Ravens. He won’t get a turkey leg. This will be his first game where he’s not playing. I am very high on Ja’Marr Chase (who happens to be on my fantasy team). Not only will he have extra targets without Tee, but the former MVP candidate in 2024, Joe Burrow, is returning to action. The Joe Flacco experiment is over.

Tee is also playing in a favorable division (in the AFC North). The Steelers are 31st in passing YPG allowed, and Baltimore is 24th in YPG allowed. I am a tad concerned about the pass protection in the long run. I would like to see Cincy improve their OL.

So, Higgins is quite well-rounded. He’s also 26 years old and playing on a new four-year contract. Of course, Joe Cool is also quite young, as he’s 28 years old! Higgins and Chase can be an elite duo for many years to come.

With that enunciated, the critical question is: Is it worth selling the stud, Tee Higgins?

I would move him for a second round pick. I can’t imagine that a team offers a first round pick for him. I would also ship him away for two third round picks. A second round pick could be a potential star at a skill position.

The Bengals have potent chemistry with Higgins, Burrow, and Zac Taylor. I can’t picture Taylor getting axed quite yet. I do feel that Taylor is also the Bengals best fit for their passing attack.
