Will the Jaguars win the Super Bowl?

Jaguars outlook right now

By: Jake Rajala

The Jacksonville Jaguars had one of the most impressive wins of the season. They took down the current one seed, the Denver Broncos with a score of 34-20. Yes, it wasn’t even a tight battle. Sean Payton hurt his Coach of the Year chances, while Bo Nix went from a dark horse MVP candidate to dreaming about the trophy. We learned that the Jags are legit and on a roll. With that said, the most serious question is: Will the Jaguars win the Super Bowl?

The Jags haven’t been this dominant since their “Sacksonville Days”. That was back when Blake Bortles was carried by his defense.

The Jags are tied for seventh in PPG. They have arguably been the most electric offense over the past two weeks. T-Lawrence had five touchdown passes two weeks ago against the Jets. Then he unleashed three TDs against the Broncos.

On defense, they rank 10th in PPG allowed. They are clearly quite balanced. They are also tied for third in turnovers. They attack the ball with everything they have. Despite being a potent defense, they aren’t even witnessing former first overall pick Travon Walker explode. He only has 2.5 sacks on the season.

The Jags have proven to be battle tested. They demolished the Chargers by a score of 35-6 and the Colts by a score of 36-19. They also beat the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs earlier in the season.

I would have to say the Jags are a Top-3 AFC team, right up there with the Pats and Bills, in my opinion. I’d say Drake Maye and Josh Allen are slightly ahead of Lawrence, however. All three QBs are young, too. If they can stay healthy, they should make their teams competitive for a very long time.
