7 best landing spots for Jaylen Waddle

Where should Jaylen Waddle play next?

By: Jake Rajala

Tyreek Hill and Bradley Chubb are no longer Dolphins. According to Adam Ferrell, Waddle said “me next” to the front office after the two departures. So, if Waddle leaves, where will he land? Well, I’m going to lay out the best landing spots for him.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers could lose Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings this offseason. Christian McCaffrey was the Comeback Player of the Year, but he can’t carry the 49ers offense by himself. The 49ers were desperate for explosive plays in the passing game against the Seahawks in the playoffs, as they unleashed a mere six points against them. Waddle can be an All-Pro under Kyle Shanahan.

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots needed help at WR with Stefon Diggs. Now, Digg’s future is up in the air, so they REALLY need a legit WR. Waddle is also a young wideout (27 years old), so he could build with Drake Maye (who nearly won MVP in 2025) for many years to come.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders have a young, genius at HC with Klint Kubiak. Their TE (Brock Bowers), RB (Ashton Jeanty) are Pro Bowl worthy, and soon they will have their QB (Fernando Mendoza). All they are missing is a quality WR1. Waddle can be that missing link. Tre Tucker is their alpa, and he merely recorded 696 yards. He’s not a Top 20 WR.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints have Chris Olave at WR1, but they need a true WR2. Jaylen Waddle is similar to Rashid Shaheed, who was a true deep threat for the Saints. Kellen Moore loves the play-action game, which fits Waddle quite well. Waddle should be intrigued about playing with Tyler Shough, who was the best rookie QB last season.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers need to be stout around Justin Herbert. Their veteran WR Keenan Allen is a soon to be free agent. They should go with a younger WR than Allen, who is 33 years old. The Chargers don’t have a 1k yard WR on their roster. If they want to compete with Bo Nix and Patrick Mahomes, they need more toys.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers have a few modest WRs, but they are missing a very explosive WR in their group. This is similar to the WR group on the Chiefs. Romeo Doubs is also a free agent this offseason. The Pack already have one of the best QB-RB tandems with Jordan Love and Josh Jacobs. It’s time to pick a top-shelf WR.

Baltimore Ravens

DeAndre Hopkins wasn’t the sexiest WR addition last offseason. They need a quicker, younger WR. Zay Flowers and Waddle could be one of the most underrated WR duos in the league. Of course, they still have Derrick Henry at RB and Mark Andrews at TE.
