Packers free agents outlook

The Green Bay Packers had a wretched end to their season, as they lost to their worst enemy, the Chicago Bears. Aaron Rodgers wasn’t there to save the Pack. With that said, the offseason is in full force. There are difficult decisions to be made surrounding their roster, especially in free agency. Hence, I’m going to lay out what the Packers should do with their “key” free agents.
Malik Willis (leave)
I can’t imagine that Malik Willis will return as backup after the magic he pulled off. He’s efficient, versatile, and wise with the football. He should go to a team where he can compete for the starting gig. The Titans and Raiders make a lot of sense. The Packers could bring in a veteran QB, such as Marcus Mariota or Jimmy G.
Rasheed Walker (keep)
Rasheed Walker isn’t Joe Thomas, but he has potential. He shines in pass blocking. The best part about Walker is that he’s 26 years old. He is just entering his prime. I wouldn’t say he’s proven enough to get a long-term monster contract. I’d like to see him on a three year deal.
Quay Walker (leave)
The Packers need improvement on defense. That starts at the LB spot. Micah Parsons and Rashad Gary can’t do everything for the front seven. Quay Walker had a PFF grade of 48.5, which is far from sexy. I want to see the Packers take a sharp look at Demario Davis, who is one of the best MLBs in the league, and he will be looking for a playoff caliber team to join. Insert the Packers.
Romeo Doubs (leave)
The Packers need to rebuild their WR spot. They don’t have enough firepower to compete with the Bears, Rams, or Seahawks. Jordan Love is a Pro Bowl QB, and Josh Jacobs is a Top-10 RB. They are just missing a spark at the WR spot. Luckily, there are many quality FA WRs in this class. The Top-5 FA WRs will be hard to acquire, but I could see the Packers reeling in Jauan Jennings or Rashid Shaheed.
Kingsley Enagbare (leav)
This is a bit of a no-brainer. Kingsley wasn’t even an average edge rusher. He was ranked as the 71st DE (with a grade of 63.6). I’d love to see Bradley Chubb, Cameron Jordan, or Khalil Mack. Any edge rusher should be intrigued by the possibility of playing alongside Micah Parsons. Of course, Gary will most likely be the other starting DE, but it’s important to have a superb third edge player.
