5 best trade destinations for DJ Moore

Best destinations for DJ Moore

By: Jake Rajala h

There has been an awful lot of trade rumors surrounding Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore. After all, he is paid a lot to contribute at a position on the Bears that has a couple of playmakers already. With that said, I’m going to lay out the best fits for him.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens were so close to making the playoffs last season. I believe they need more weaponry to take down the Pittsburgh Steelers and other elite teams, such as the Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, and New England Patriots. They have Lamar Jackson at QB and Derrick Henry at RB (who had an 80.4 PFF grade). Zay Flowers is a modest pass catcher at WR (as PFF dubbed him the 19th best WR), but I want to see them reel in another Pro Bowl caliber WR.

Buffalo Bills

There is chemistry between the Bills head coach, Joe Brady, and Moore. Brady worked with Moore in Carolina in 2020-2021. Of course, the Bills also need quality weapons, as Josh Allen (2024 MVP) and James Cook (2025 leading rusher) proved that they can’t do everything by themselves last season. Khalil Shakir was their most productive WR, and he only had 719 receiving yards.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have a few C+ quality pass catchers. I want to see them reel in a B quality wideout. Xavier Worthy isn’t a 1k+ yard WR. Furthermore, Juju and Hollywood Brown could very well on a different team next season, as they are both free agents. Let’s not forget that Travis Kelce could retire this offseason.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers have barely gotten by with their threats on offense. It’s time to have an offense that will not only make the playoffs, but reach the Super Bowl. The 49ers could lose Jauan Jennings in free agency, and Brandon Aiyuk will most likely not be coming back. Moore, CMAC, and George Kittle could wreak havoc together. Brock Purdy went 7-2 last season. It’s time for him to have weapons that can help him put up big numbers and finally win MVP.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints have a talented WR1 in Chris Olave. He was named second team All-Pro last season. After that, they have a few WR3 quality wide receivers. They are missing a superb WR2. If they don’t reunite with the recent Super Bowl Champion, Rashid Shaheed, it would be wise to acquire a talented WR via a trade. Moore could help Tyler Shough, who was the Pepsi Rookie of the Year, take the next step.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders new head coach, Klint Kubiak, needs to be aggressive in order to turn around the Raiders offense. We know they have Brock Bowers. who may just be a Top-3 TE. They also have a quality RB in Ashton Jeanty. Their missing piece is a superb wideout. If the Raiders want Fernando Mendoza to win OROY, they need more gifted pieces on offense.
