Best edge rusher targets for the Bills
By: Jake Rajala
The Buffalo Bills can light it up on offense, as they were third in PPG last season. Josh Allen, who won the 2024 MVP, had another marvelous season in 2025. The issue for the Bills Mafia is that they couldn’t slow down opposing QBs. They were 26th in sacks. Witht that said, I’m going to lay out edge rushers the Bills could target in 2026.
Cameron Jordan
I believe Cameron Jordan will seek to win a Super Bowl in his remaining days in the NFL. The Saints could make the playoffs next season, but Tyler Shough isn’t quite on the same level as Allen. Jordan had 10.5 sacks, 15 QB hits, and 15 TFLs for loss. In other words, he still has a lot of gas left in the tank.
Von Miller
Similar to Jordan, Von Miller will seek to reach the Super Bowl in his remaining year or two. Miller also has chemistry and friendship with the Bills. He played with the Bills in 2023 and 2024. Miller can still wreak havoc, as he unleashed nine sacks, 15 QB hits, and six TFLs last season in Washington.
Joey Bosa
Joey Bosa wasn’t a bad pass rusher for the Bills last season. He may have only notched five sacks, but he also had five forced fumbles, which led the league. Bosa is also 30 years old, so he’s much younger than Jordan and Miller. Bosa had a modest PFF grade of 79.3.
Maxx Crosby
Maxx Crosby is one of the most decorated edge rushers in the league. CBS Sports suggests a trade between the Bills and the Raiders for Maxx Crosby. Crosby could take the Bills past the divisional round. PFF stated that Crosby had a grade of 79.7. It’s hard to foresee if the Raiders want to rebuild with Klint Kubiak and likely Fernando Mendoza.
Jadeveon Clowney
Clowney refuses to die. At 33 years old, he is still playing at a high level. He unleashed 8.5 sacks and 12 TFLs. He did this despite missing four games. Clowney could return on a 2-3 year deal. He could finally join a Super Bowl contender.
Honorable Mention:
Haason Reddick
Haason Reddick is one of the most versatile pass rushers in the league. He has been on a downward spiral the past couple of seasons. I still believe the former Eagles pass rusher who had 16 sacks in somewhere in him.
