Best landing spots for Najee Harris

The former Pittsburgh Steelers RB, Najee Harris, is surely one of the best free agent running backs in 2026. He ran over 1k yards in each of his first four seasons. Last season, he was limited in a few games. Essentially, he didn’t produce anything. I still believe he is just entering his prime and will be a stud with any team that signs him. With that said, I’m going to lay out the best landing spots for him.
Las Vegas Raiders
Sure, the Raiders have Ashton Jeanty, who stands like Michael Myers in the backfield. Well, that doesn’t appear to be enough. They ranked 32nd in rushing YPG last season. I want to see “lightning and thunder”. In other words, I want to see a two-headed monster. Jeanty didn’t record 1k rushing yards last season, and he merely averaged 3.7 YPC. It’s time to get him a sidekick.
Denver Broncos
I want to see the Broncos let JK Dobbins leave and replace him with Harris. Harris reminds me of Mark Ingram. Of course, Ingram played under Payton. The Broncos still have RJ Harvey. He isn’t going to have a 3 touchdown game or 150+ rushing yards in a single contest, too. A healthy Bo Nix and Harris can get Denver over the hump.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints REALLY need to fix their RB spot this offseason. The expensive Alvin Kamara will likely get cut or traded. He was the 54th best RB out of 54 RBs last season. Audric Etime isn’t ready to be a RB1. Kendre Miller has struggled to get on his feet and make a statement game, too. I want to see Harris as the bell-cow RB and help the young Tyler Shough.
Jacksonville Jaguars
I believe the Jags will lose the versatile Travis Etienne to the Kansas City Chiefs. Harris could be his replacement. The Jags need to retain a quality RB if they want to be a playoff contender. They were 18th in rushing YPG last season. They should be at least a middle of the pack rushing offense with Harris.
Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns may have their future QB in Shedeur Sanders. It’s time for them to get a somewhat young RB, as well. Jerry Jeudy and David Njoku (assuming he stays) are quality pieces, too. Quinshon Judkins is the RB1 right now, but I don’t love his upside. He had one game over 100 rushing yards, and he averaged 3.6 YPC on the season.
Honorable Mention:
Houston Texans
It’s unclear if Joe Mixon will return to being an impressive workhorse at RB, following his “freak medical condition”. After Mixon, it’s kind of murky. Nick Chubb will most certainly leave in free agency. Woody Marks isn’t worthy of being a RB1. He recorded 703 rushing yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, and averaged 3.6 YPC. He isn’t scary right now.
