Best landing spots for Rashee Rice

Where should Rashee Rice play next?

By: Jake Rajala

The Kansas City Chiefs wideout Rashee Rice still makes immature decisions at the age of 25. He went 119 mph and crashed, which resulted in severe bodily harm. With the Chiefs having quality depth at WR and TE, they may want to move on from the trouble maker. So, I’m going to lay out the best landing spots for him.

Baltimore Ravens

We witnessed the Ravens and Chiefs exchange WRs in the past. The Ravens witnessed Hollywood Brown leave and go to the Chiefs. We also saw DeAndre Hopkins go from the Chiefs to the Ravens. The Ravens blatantly need another play-maker to get over the hump.

Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns are running it back with Deshaun Watson at QB. I recently wrote an article about whether he could win Comeback Player of the Year. With that said, Watson will need all the help he can get. Besides Jerry Jeudy, they don’t have the sexiest group of wideouts.

Philadelphia Eagles

It appears Philly needs a WR after they plan on shipping away A.J. Brown. DeVonta Smith isn’t megatron. Furthermore, it appears that Saquon Barkley isn’t the same RB that made him on the Madden cover. They undoubtedly need a legit weapon. It wasn’t long ago that the Eagles won the Super Bowl.

Tennessee Titans

I’d love to see Cam Ward sling the ball and put up points in an AFC South division that had two teams with 12+ wins! The third team (Colts) nearly beat the Seahawks with Philip Rivers at QB. Calvin Ridley and Wan’Dale Robinson can be an excellent WR duo. I want to see a top-notch WR3 and allow Ward to try and prove he is better than the likes of Tyler Shough and Jaxson Dart.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints have a WR1 in Chris Olave, as he was second team All-Pro last season. After him, they don’t have a clear WR2. DeVaughn Vele is stout, but he’s not going to dismantle defenses when they focus on Olave. I would have liked to see Rashid Shaheed return, but that wasn’t the case.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers added Mike Evans, but they still haven’t brought back Jauan Jennings and it appears they will trade Brandon Aiyuk. Rice could be the wideout that takes the top off a defense. Ricky Pearsall is a modest WR3, but he’s not a WR that can be a threat against elite defenses in the playoffs.
