Dallas Cowboys offensive triplet outlook

Cowboys offensive triplet

The Dallas Cowboys have one of the most underrated offensive triplets in the league. Of course, they are led by Dak Prescott at quarterback. After Prescott, they have one of the most underrated running backs in Javonte Williams. Of course, let’s not forget about Ceedee Lamb, who may be a Top-5 wide receiver.

Dak may be 32 years old, which is the same age as Jacoby Brissett. Nonetheless, he’s in the middle of his prime. The former Texas A and M signal-caller unleashed 30 touchdowns last season. He also led the league in completions with 404. Tony Romo only had one season where he threw over 400 completions. Prescott also had a 86.9 PFF grade last season.

Prescott got a lot of help from his running back, Williams. Javonte was a Pro Bowl snub, to say the least. He ran angrily for 1,201 yards, 11 touchdowns, and averaged 4.8 YPC! He was Top-10 in both of those categories. 2019 was the last time that Zeke Elliot ran over 1,200 rushing yards. Williams came out of nowhere. He had zero 1k yard rushing seasons in his time as a Bronco.

The Top-5, Ceedee Lamb, WR didn’t fall asleep last season, to say the least. He recorded his fifth straight Pro Bowl last season. He only played in 14 games a season ago, but he still managed to haul in 1,077 yards and three touchdowns. Lamb is also in his prime, as he’s 27 years old. Lamb had a PFF grade of 77.6. It should be noted that he was sharing his dinner with George Pickens. The two are arguably a Top-3 WR duo. Pickens is a B+ wideout, while Lamb is an A in my opinion.

The Boys have a Top-5 QB, Top-10 RB, and a Top-5 WR. They have a rich group of players, to say the least. The last time that the Boys had this potent of an offensive triplet was with Tony Romo, Demarco Murray, and Dez Bryant! They have a very impressive history of being well-rounded. They had Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, and many others.

The best part about the offensive triplet with the Boys is that they are locked up under contract long-term. Dak signed a four year contract extension in September of 2024. Lamb inked a contract in September of 2024, as well. Finally, Williams signed a three year deal in February of 2026.
