5-time Pro Bowler’s future is in the air

We all witnessed the reigning DPOY Myles Garrett get traded to the Los Angeles Rams. This means that nobody is safe on the Browns roster, even It is an “elite” player, too.
According to Last Word on Sports, Ward did indicate last offseason that if Garrett was traded, there wouldn’t be a “future with the Browns”. However, he recently told reporters, “I definitely still want to be here”.
If his mood changes “again”, I’m going to lay out squads that could be a realistic landing spot.
Seattle Seahawks
The Hawks can’t slow down if they want to repeat as World Champions. After all, the LA Rams haven’t taken their foot off the pedal. The Hawks also lost Riq Woolen to free agency. The Hawks defense was legendary last season. They were first in PPG allowed last season. It’s time to retain that dominance.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs traded away CB Trent McDuffie, which was questionable. I love their draft pick of CB Mansoor Delane and the arrival of Kader Kohou. I’d still like to see a sure-fire CB1 stud. The Chiefs offense didn’t blow teams out of the building last season. They need their defense to give their offense a hand.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints have been losing key piece in their secondary over the past couple of seasons. They moved on from Marshon Lattimore, Paulson Adebo, Tyrann Mathieu, and Alontae Taylor. They have Kool-Aid McKinstry, who is expected to be their best CB, and he’s a stud. I’d love to see Ward finish his career with a stud defense.
Detroit Lions
The Lions are in desperate need for CB help. Terrion Arnold was their 2024th first round pick and he hasn’t panned out quite yet. He had a PFF grade of 52.6, which was quite disappointing. They haven’t had the best draft picks at the CB spot. Just ask Jeffery Okudah.
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys made a brilliant draft pick of CB Caleb Downs. They also have an alpha in Cobie Durant. I’d still like to see them be aggressive. The Boys were 32nd in PPG allowed last season. Yes, you read that correctly. The Eagles no longer have AJ Brown, but they still have DeVonta Smith. The Commanders have Terry McLaurin and the Giants have Malik Nabers.
Ward is a modest CB and he will want to squeeze out his remaining talent by pursuing a Super Bowl ring. I’d love to see him traded, as he’s 29 years old, and he likely has 2-3 more seasons in him.
