Greg Olsen’s bold prediction about the Giants

Olsen’s bold prediction about the GMEN

By: Jake Rajala

The legendary NFL tight end Greg Olsen isn’t only a success story on the field. He’s also quite a popular NFL analyst. With that said, he has voiced a bold prediction in mid-June. He believes the Giants can improve from 2025 to 2026, just how the Bears improved from 2024 to 2025.

So, is that a pipe dream? Or perhaps it could be true.

The GMEN have arguably the most underrated NFL triplet on offense. Not only do they have a talented offensive triplet, but they are all young!

Jaxson Dart: 23 years old

Cam Skattebo: 24 years old

Malik Nabers: 22 years old

First off, Dart (who is a big Star Wars and President Trump fan) unleashed 15 touchdowns to five interceptions last season. Furthermore, he threw a 63.7 completion percentage. He had a 67.9 completion percentage, which was 31st among 43 QBs.

Skattebo, who believes CTE isn’t real, had a hot start to the 2026 season. He had 410 yards on 101 carries. He also had five rushing touchdowns. Let it be known that he only played in eight games. Otherwise, he would have had a strong case to eclipse 1k rushing yards.

Nabers is flat out special. Hopefully, his knee injury doesn’t hold him back from missing a chunk of 2026. He only played in four games a season ago. His 2024 season was impressive. He registered 1,204 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns. He was a Pro Bowler as a rookie.

On defense, the GMEN have an elite front seven, in my opinion. They have Brian Burns, who had 16.5 sacks last season. That was second in the league.

They also have Abdul Carter, who is just scratching the surface. He was their third overall pick in 2025.

Their third edge player is none other than Kavyon Thibodeaux. He didn’t record anything special, as he battled injuries last season. In 12 games (in 2024), he unleashed 5.5 sacks, 17 QB hits, and eight tackles for loss.

Let’s not forget about Arvell Reese and Tremaine Edmunds. Their isn’t any reason that they aren’t a Top-5 run defense and Top-5 in sacks.

The most underrated part of the Giants has to be their new head coach John Harbaugh. After all, he won a Super Bowl, and had many playoff appearances. He also has 13 winning seasons to his name.

Olson recognized the talent on the GMEN’s defense, but it’s also important to point out that the GMEN play in a weak division. The Boys were 32nd in PPG allowed last season and the Commanders were 27th in PPG allowed.
